New Injectors. What a difference!

After much head scratching I have solved my problem.
The problem was; when I started the car from cold it would turn over but not fire at all for about ten seconds of cranking. Then followed by another ten seconds it would splutter into life.
First of all I carried out a full service replacing all filters, plugs etc.
After sourcing a new fuel pump relay (thanks to MrP) the priming was now sorted. If I primed the car three times it would start fine. This lead me to fuel pressure.
After checking for leaks I discovered that the fuel line on number 1 injector was finger tight but very loose. After nipping this up the car would fire almost immediately.
Then the car would run a little lumpy. I took out the injectors to inspect them. They were in a right state. The seals had perished causing corrosion.
I replaced all four injectors with genuine Bosch parts. £154 from Volkswerk in Middlesbrough It now starts first time every time and runs silky smooth. Time for a rest.
