I have a 8v GTX and need to replace the solid fuel lines on the car for the MOT next month. I'm gonna use the copper/nickel pipe like I have used for the brakes but don't know what size to order as I have known air cooled guys have fitted oversized pipe to improve the amount of flow to big carbs and with the planed itb's for the 16v motor I'm gonna fit I may as well upgrade them now as the tank and filler neck are being replaced as well as the rear beam being painted n polly bushed I don't want to have to do it all twice

I'm sure plain copper has a degrading effect on fuel but the copper nickel alloy doesn't + its easier to shape

fuel don't stay in mine long enough to degrade

you can get copper pipe in either soft or hard. the soft is easy to bend by hand, the hard you need a bender for.
