Rear view mirror legalities.

Is there any laws etc that relate to the size of the interior rear view mirror? I've thought of a project for the roccos rear view mirror, but it could end up being a bit small. Not dangerously small, just a bit smaller than normal (3.75" x 2.25" to be precise).

Cheers. From that, I gather that an interior mirror isn't even needed as long as there is a passenger side wing mirror. I'm hoping it will be fine. I'm going into my MOT place tomorrow to get the MOT repairs done, so I'll ask if I remember. Might even take the item that I'm turning into a mirror in so they can see.
Rest assured, I'll post a full write up when I'm done. It will be awesome if I can pull it off.

you only need two mirrors in total. otherwise most vans would be illegal.

of course it would be good if people used the bass-turd things..............South East London does seem to be a mirror oblivious zone.

My old beach buggy only needed the interior mirror since it was old enough. Was pretty fun driving with no wing mirrors!
I'm in two minds what to do with the roccos mirror. The one I have is fine and dandy, but it's missing some of the frame. One option:
Only problems being that it's a bit pricey, plus it's 12" long so it would more than likely interfere with the visors.
The other option involved making something myself, although it would be mighty desirable for thieving pikeys. I reckon I'll make it anyway and then decide whether or not to put it in the car.
