Got busy today and under took fitting blue leather interior all ok apart from rear bench.
The upright section is in two bits ,original section just one ,there is a "mounting bracket" on the storm section but nowhere to mount it on the body,so before I drill am I doing the install wrong or will I have to drill to mount?
Hopes thats clear as mud
As before and in advance I thank you

Erm, basically you will need that mount for a split rear seat or it will be floppy and only held steady by the parcel shelf.
You need to be careful when fitting the bracket to your car, because the fuel tank is under that part of the car (or very close by). For safety, I'd drop the tank out, which is why I never got round to fitting the bracket in my old Scala... but then no-one ever sat in the back anyway.

Don't drill the car, especially with the fuel tank directly beneath.
Remove the original bracket from the Storm, just a couple of spot welds hold in place, just cut them with a thin disc on an angle grinder.
Fit your back seat in the new car, and line up where you want the bracket to go, mark it with a pen. Just a few dabs of weld will hold it in place. Not too much heat there tho, and if in any doubt, remove the tank and move it away, and tape up the fuel pipe ends to avoid vapour. Safety first!
