Removing Pull Down Unit

Post by Beddo88 »

Hi all, having issues with the my carb (Pierburg), think it may be the pull down unit. Its an 87 scala.

I have tried all the recomended methods of testing, but not come to a definite decision. I think removing it will allow me to check it over properly.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the unit, and then check it properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Having now got hold of some vacuum tube (or in this case, random pieces of air line tubing) i've managed to check it using the suck on A, cover B etc method. And its fine. Which is annoying. So i have other issues, but that ones fine!
