In reply to questions about engine fit, it goes straight in without the need for custom mounts.
I use the AEB engine from the pre-2000 passat or A4 which is a similar block configuation to the origional 8v engine, and it has the casting hole for the dizzy.
The distributor conversion kit means you can utilise the G60 dizzy and management system so keeping costs down and keeping everything simple.

I have had to bespoke the inlet manifold and boost recirc pipe, but the rest is all slightly fettled parts from the VAG parts bin! Even the exhaust manifold is just a 16v MK1 manifold with different flanges.

I still need a few parts to fully finish though.... Does anybody have a R/H front indicator (mine has a crack and no seal)
I also need a new front windscreen as mine is worn and starting to de-lam in a few patches.
oh and an Eibach anti-roll bar kit would be great!!

Cheers for the +ve response.

How easy is the Lacetti brake servo to fit?

The Chevrolet servo was a straight swap! I only had to change the clevis for the old servo to the Chevy one. The bolt pattern was the same. The brakes are now akin to a modern car! EASY..

The Caddy G60 is up for £2995 email me at dubdoctor@hotmail.com for pics, or call me on 07968 250245,

Cheers,

Neil Wise.
