Scirocco Register

Whilst driving at night none of the dash board lights come! I've checked the fuses and their all working, any ideas?

Is the dimmer switch turned up? If it is change all the bulbs, there are 3 of them in the dash binnicle, 1 in the ashtray and 1 for the heater controls and 1 for the fag lighter.

Yeah the dimmer switch is working, so bulbs it is then.

do your sidelights work? i think the 2 are fused on the same circuit. if so, check for a voltage at one of the bulb holders. if no voltage, it'll probably be the switch is cream crackered. if there is voltage then it will obviously be the bulbs. unusual for them to all go at once though.

In my experience people tend to put up with the odd dash bulb blown as it is quite an effort for some to change. They have probably not blown all at the same time!
