Scirocco Register

Hi all,

I was a member of the old register and in the past have owened a C plate GTS, F plate Scalla and an H plate GTII. Its been a few years since I have had one but picking up a C GTX this weekend. Its currently SORN, engine is apparantly fine as is the running gear but lets wait till I get hold of it. So I will be getting it back on the road and trying to get it back to its best. What would be good is any info and advise you can give me on in relation to and mods, such as brakes, that would be worth doing while working on the car. Any tips appreciated

Have a look in the diary dates section at the North East VW show at Witton castle on Sunday 13th September, there is a Scirocco Register stand.

I did spot that but cant do Sunday....gutted would have been a good day out......

Found some pics from a Register meet in at American Adventure back in late 90's when I took my previous car. I try get them scaned and uploaded.

It would be difficult to go back there now as it no longer exists!! It closed a couple of years ago and is currently being dismantled.
