MK1 1.6 GTi 13 inch Tyre size?
I am new to the group as I just got my old car out of a garage which it's been in for 23 years. It needs new tyres. The ones on it are 185 60 13 but I am thinking I may have messed around and put the wrong size on when I was a lad. Does anyone know what size tyres should be on my 13 Inch alloys? Please?

175/70 HR 13 would have been the original size, coupled to 5.5J rims. It is a rare tyre size now, especially with the original H speed rating (130 mph). T-rated tyres, which I don't think were available in the early 80s, would be a safe and legal alternative, suitable for maximum speeds up to 118 mph
