Dual horn wiring

Dual horn wiring

Hi, im trying to thin out any un necesery wiring and i notice the L conector on the back is for the dual horn system, iv wired my own horn to a buton on the dash so can i remove this wiring or will it affect anything els?

Why not use the original wiring, direct to the horn or through a Relay ?

The horn circuit only feeds the horn, but take care removing the wiring as on first glance it looks as though the horn switching may be in the earth path in which case the horn wiring would be permanently live.
