Scirocco Register

My car has been in storage for a couple of years, and when coming to start it i had difficulty turning the key in the ignition.

I've occasionally had this problem in the past. I would engage the steering lock and then turn the wheel to the limit of the lock which would allow the key to turn but it was never any worse than that.

The 2nd time it took over 5 minutes of wiggling to get it to turn!

if it were mine id try spraying a bit of wd40 down there.
