Fuel pump relay

Post by Village Idiots »

I think the relay to my fuel pump (Mk2 inj. model) has given up.
I seem to remember reading on here that you can bypass this by putting a wire into the two larger sockets to connect them directly as a 'get you home'.
Have I dreamt this or is it the case?

defo does work but you will need some 10mm spades as they are huge!! connect these to a short length of wire and joint a decent 20amp plus chunky switch on the end then you can turn it on or off at leisure

I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!
