My Gt was lowered when i got it. Its got some Bilstein shocks on it.
It bottoms out horribly over potholes and is really starting to annoy me.
I think its lacking in bump stops. I cant see them on there, checked put my bros corrado lowered with some boges and they ae really obvious.
Anyone know if any will fit or do i need specific ones???

cheers in advance guys

Rich

Were the springs and shocks changed together and properly matched? (i.e. uprated shocks to match the drop in height)

My boge springs and shocks used to be terrible over pot-holes. I've got a different set up now and it's much better. New bump stops should help things but don't expect any miracles unless of course your existing ones are goosed. There's 2 different types for the rocco - I think the later ones are meant to be a slight improvement over the original ones. There's a place online that does bump-stops that you slide onto the shock - a bit like pack man pieces and you can put as many or as few on as you like. My mate has them on his A4 and reckons they're pretty good.

Have i understood you correctly here, are you saying you can put them on without taking off the shocks n springs? Cos if so that would be much easier

I dont really know, the service history is patchy at best, as far as i know the bilsteins were put on when it was lowered but i couldnt be certain. I'll get the model number off the bilsteins tomorrow and look them up.

Yes, you kind of clip them on. No idea what they're called or where he got them from but I'll find out. You might find the front shocks are knackered if it's really bad so might be worth taking them off and checking.
