My car has a 25mm lowering kit from System 2 - an old but I believe decent system including springs and dampers.
Do you think I would be able to swap out the 25mm springs with 50mm lowering springs and leave the dampers?
It rides fine at the moment but sits a little too high.

Re: 50mm lowering springs
50mm drop is low, you may have problems with speed bumps etc?
You could keep the original shocks and fit lower springs but you may find the shocks will fail quite quickly.
You will also need to fit shorter bump stops.
Good kit with everything but not a 50mm drop, it’s 35-40mm drop. (Check with them it’s ok for a mk2 Sciorcco)

Or coil overs but you need to spend big to get a good set which won’t shake your fillings out…

Re: 50mm lowering springs
It’s already 25mm lower with dampers to suit. Looks standard height though to me. I wonder if these same dampers could be used with 40mm lower springs?
