Hi, Changing the front struts on my GTX and have some issues.

1) The camber bolts are OK but the eccentric washers are missing. Standard washers are present. Is this a problem?
2) The non camber bolts are extremely rusty. I have some marine 316 m12 x 50 bolts that are identical (except coarser thread) can I use these? Or are genuine vw replacements required?

mark carter was selling these i think or alternatively vwheritage do
i would use the orignal spec bolts as the fine thread will apply a lot of pressure at the rated torque.
if you use a coarser threaded bolt it wont apply the same pressure and may come undone.

Have fitted what I have. (Cambers original. Lower bolts not original) Will order and replace when they arrive.

Vw Heritage out of stock. The other website wanted £46 for 4 nuts and bolts. I think I will keep looking. However, thanks for the links.
