Sunroof Sinks in one corner

Post by pzscala »

Hi all

I have a tilt and slide sunroof on my scala which works great except for the drivers side rear corner doesn’t sit flush with the roof (it sunken about an inch or so) when the handle is clicked into the close position. For now I just drive with the handle about 90 degrees clockwise which seems to keep the sunroof level, is there a pad or something the the sunroof is meant to sit on when closed? Or is it possible that the lever has simply been put on a quarter turn too far (I.e is it a square peg it fits on to?)

Also, the wind deflector has a rail on each side that runs against the leading edge of the sunroof to close the deflector when the sunroof winds down, one of these has broken meaning I have to hold the wind deflector down whilst closing the sunroof which is interesting when trying to drive to say the least 8-) , is there anyone that sells replacements online or is it easier to take the one that is fine off and have another one fabricated?

You can adjust the roof but you may need to make sure nothing is broken.
