Scirocco Register

So am at last making progress with the mk1 resto due to suddenly having a bit more time on my hands! Got the screen out of the back of the shed (bought 15 years ago from vw company near Southampton that went out of business) and noticed on the packaging that it stated specifically that it was for a mk1 scirocco without the wraparound indicators!! I am guessing the TS model? This was a surprise to me as I thought they were the same shape. This screen is similar but the corners are slightly sharper. If this is the case, then I have a brand new original screen for a TS if anyone is interested.

I think TS Scirocco had clear glass and not green ?.... but the replacement might be green?

There should be no difference in any build from 1974 up to 1981.

The company I get my window from have 8 colour variations but all suitable for 74-81 cars.

TS came with clear as standard . Green tint was factory optional extra.

The screen is clear but nobody has yet confimed that there is a difference between ts and regular screen!

Pilkington only list one pattern for 1974-81.

Thanks. It's a mystery! I am going to look a bit closer for clues.
