Scirocco GLS 1979 Auto

Post by J999 »

Hi Guys

I have just purchased a 1979 Scirocco GLS (Automatic) and wondered if anyone can give me some help on a few things please.

I am looking to lower the car and have looked at AP Coilovers, however, on most websites it states the axle load is 785kg. With my car being an automatic do you think this will be ok? I've done some research online but seem to be struggling to find much info, I would imagine the auto will be slightly heavier possibly?

Thanks :)

The 785kg is the front axle load. Given that the car is less than 900kg total, you'll be fine. Unless you weigh 300kg....:D
