Weber carburettor.
Mechanically excellent, full top end rebuild. New cooling system. Belts, pulleys, tensioners, water pump, alternator all done in March. New brakes all round (pipes, hoses, calipers, discs, pads, shoes, drums, pistons). Pirelli P1s all round this year on snowflakes. Sound body, no rust bar one small bubbling area on passenger window rim. Resprayed recently (was really ratty before) and could do with a good T-Cut and polish but it scrubs up well.
Also had front right wheel bearing done, rears both done, new back-box, new nearside driveshaft, gear oil done, period correct radio with Bluetooth module hidden, windows work.
I've done loads to this car but I've got to look after my BX now so it's on to greener pastures for the VW. £2600 ONO
Good points:
Mechanically sound, runs really nicely and pulls well. Most things replaced
Structurally sound.
Bad points:
Passenger door small dent
Paint needs a cut and polish
Boot leaks in heavy rain (I've tried new seals etc.)
Small exhaust blow
NS Front wheel bearing needs doing in the next year, parts
