is an injection fuel tank anydifrent to a carb tank people?

the injection models have an in-tank pump, but i think that it's just the sender unit that's different. the early and late cars have different sized tanks

early (smaller) carb and injection tanks are different. The injection pump is gravity fed on pre 1984.5 cars and has an outlet that runs to the pump. Later large tanks have no difference between them, as Nate says, the main pump was fed by a slave in-tank pump instead. You don't say what car you have Lukey?
