Rear Anti Roll Bar Clamp Replacement

Post by Chris M »

I read that many have struggled to replace the rear anti roll bar clamps. The problem appears to be in compressing the clamp enough to slide on the retaining clip. Even as a former VAG technician I too struggled to fit the clip until I had a rare moment of inspiration. I used a tool intended to fit CV boot clips to compress the clamp enough to slide the clip into place. I hope this may help anyone struggling with this operation. The tool was purchased from Machine Mart.
