Feel for you matey, the same happened to my "84"CL in alpine white back in 1988.... uninsured driver hit it on the OS drivers door right on the hinges. Pushed the door into the dash and the dash into the passenger door. brought the roof down too.
Salvage what you can and look for a good clean example, one or two low mileage examples keep popping up every now and again...
Like you, I'm bricking it in case some toe rag does the same to me again...... but we gotta carry on.
It's all over for my car....
