Hi all,

Got a nasty stone chip in the windscreen, not an MOT issue but still... on the list of things to do before winter sends a crack wayward.

Any idea where I can get a replacement please? It can't be an off the shelf item surly??? :?

Cheers

Russ

I think Autoglass or Auto Windscreens (can't remember which) can get them. Maybe both. If necessary they order from Pilkington, apparently.

I've used the self applied injection repair kits on a couple of my screens - they're really quite good unless directly in your main line of vision.

Beyond that - it's an insurance route i would say, pilkingtons do still supply but don't hold stock in all likelihood.

Track a new screen seal down if you do go down the replacement route.

National Windscreens replaced mine earlier this year, it was done within a couple of days of requesting a replacement.

Autoglass it is, they will even claim on my insurance for me. Happy daze! Good to see these old cars still catered for. Thanks to all who offered advice

Pilkington classic glass. Think they can still do them with the original markings on too
