This is a sad day. I have owned mki/ii sciroccos since 1985 and this is my last one! Firstly, let me make it clear that this is a non-runner and a project car. I have owned the Storm since December 2001 and used it as my second Scirocco up to 2014. I was advised that it would fail its MOT because it needed a new fuel tank, new filler neck and replacement front N/S spring. The car has remained on my drive since 2014. The engine has not been started for 3 years. The car will need to be winched onto a trailer.
As to the mileage the car had 97,400 miles on the clock when I bought it. The odometer stopped working at 106,656 miles in 2004. I probably did 3-4,000 miles a year in it thereafter. The car is standard apart from having had some MIM alloys and wider tyres fitted before I bought it.I have the original blue VAG Service wallet, all MOTs back to 2001 and substantial service history.
