Private messages not sending

Tried sending a private message the other day. Noticed today it didnt send, just sat in out box. Retried several times today from different computers and my phone and its doing the same thing.
puzzled!

when its in the outbox, it hasn't been read by the reciever

Ah ok cheers for that. He's going to be a little annoyed with whats waiting for him then!!!

When it hasnt been read, you can still delete the messages. The reciever only gets a message that there was a pm from you that you have deleted.
