Hey guys,

Been thinking of doing the clutch when I do the gearbox and without dropping the old one out I can measure it...

I’m pretty sure it’s the 210mm not the 190mm but can anyone confirm?

It’s a 1.8 8v injection Kjet (ex engine code according to the log book as I haven’t actually looked on the block)

Fuel injection car should be a DX engine, EX was the 90bhp carb version but the EX block is the same as the DX.

Was the car once a carb and it’s been swapped to fuel injection?

Haha sorry just seen this it was meant to say DX but auto correct got involved!

So 210 it is

Has anyone tried the black diamond clutches? Is it worth the upgrade or just replace with a standard?

Normal good quality clutch should be fine, Sachs is the one to go for and should be fine for up to 200bhp.

I’ve not tried a upgraded clutch so sorry can’t comment on difference.

Ah ok but to be honest if sach is good for 200 I’m probably running less than half that so I think that’s answers that haha
