What does this mean for led rear lights? How many leds have to be out for it to count or is it just 1 out for a fail?

The rule for LED's and other multi bulb set ups has been 50% and above is a pass. I would be surprised if they change that

You got to love this quote from the new rules...

They will now check if..... brake pad warning lights and if brake pads or discs are missing

What... I think you may notice when driving your car if a brake pad or brake disc is missing!!

Brake discs I'll give you but as for pads you'd be surprised how many people wouldn't notice. I knew someone who had the pads fitted the wrong way round (i.e., friction material up against the piston instead of the disc) on another make of car and wondered why it wasn't any better than before!

Metal against metal grinding...just turn the music up until the MOT.

Aye, they probably wouldn't notice if your discs and pads were missing. Too busy trying to sell you new shockers
