Hey guys,

Just been looking at short shifters and I’ve come across this..

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2356472742

I can’t help but think it looks strange isn’t it meant to be like the following?

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2851249704

Just curious why they are different or am I missing something obvious?

got to be honest where that needs to bolt onto its not going to work as the one end of the shaft that would accept that kind of fitting is where the captive ball sits????
the other end is welded on so not interchanable and is the reason why https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2851249704
has the shaft attached.

Odd that first one. It's a mk2 Golf item but doesn't even have the range of holes that most short shifters have.

Mine was very similar to this, had 30% or 70% Reduction.

I'll see if I can get a better picture of mine.

That’s vaguely similar to one of the ones I posted so I guess should work fine.
