Re: sa style clutch bracket
the ones i have fitted originated from mark watson who lives in Africa.
i think all of us had never heard of them till he mentioned them, he might be able to get you one if you contact him.
the only issue is postage can be a bit of a pain.
before you go down that road i suggest you find out why the cables are snapping as it sounds like you might have another issue that the sa clutch bracket wont fix
check the arm in the gearbox moves freely with the cable detached, they can be seized/ seizing up in the gearbox casing.
the cable can also go off center where it connects to the gearbox and actually start sawing through the gearbox outer cable mounting
if you can try and straighten the bend in the cable (without kinking it!) right where it goes through the bulk head as thats usually where they break, reducing the angle will give the cable an easier life and make the pedal a bit lighter.

Re: sa style clutch bracket
Yer that's where they break every time on mine (at the bulkhead) my bulkhead pulled through ages ago and it's currently got a piece of ally plate there with a round hole drilled in as a "patch" I think it's miles off lining up with the pedal, but I'd still like a bracket thing, funnily enough I'm going down to sa this month, I mean see if I can source one or see if I can contact Mark and see if he can either post one to me in SA or if he's close I can go and get one from him

Re: sa style clutch bracket
I got mine welded with a patch years ago and it seems the trick is to weld the patch in spots rather than continuously as this allows it to flex?

Re: sa style clutch bracket
the patch i have at the moment is just riveted in place, i would have thought a thicker piece of steel would have solved the problem because the bulkhead is fairly thin otherwise, for this application i wouldn't have thought you'd want any flex as that's what leads to fatigue?

Re: sa style clutch bracket
it maybe isn't to allow it to flex as it was around 10 years ago and i may be mistaken.
it's still fine though.
