Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302461915044

Im happy to buy it if everyone chips in

JBO user on here - a huge spec and the shell is from a former E38 car that I looked at buying a few years ago.

Massive spec, original top end 16v, Leather interior in black, electric windows bla bla bla. Try and get a 16v WUR, or idle control relay these days for a 16v and add up the bill, never mind the work of putting it all together and getting it running smoothly. The spec on that car is awesome and with the lighter 16v engine is probably difficult to keep straight. Shame the original shell wasn't worth saving. As one of the few genuine UK16v engine imports (engine), has a bit of history.

We will have to wait and see if anyone is prepared to pay £10,000 for the car...
I think this is the build but it's got the photo bucket curse....

Very impressive build, like to copy some of that. Impressive power coming from the stock injection
Bit like triggers broom though

Yes, tis my car guys. The price is now at 7.5k after getting a bit torn apart online . The guy who built the engine has the same spec in a recent mk1 caddy that runs 12sec quarter miles. Not bad for n/a.
Twas indeed the old ed38...can't rememebr the guys name i got it from. It was a bare shell with nothing but four wheels and a steerign column.
The original 16v converted shell was posible to save but the bell cobel conversion wasn't fantastic. The steering column wasn't perfecly lined up and twitched under hard breaking. The interior loom was simply extended and was also sub standard.

Photobucket has indeed ruined the internet!
Most of the pics can be found below. It shows the parts and work put in. It's not in order and I did give up at the end with the write up on here.
Let me know what you think.

Just read through the build thread, abit of a ride to get it to where it is now
Re: 10k for a mk2 anyone?
Sure was! . It was wortj it on the end. A 20vt would of been way cheaper but this is close to period and I love the sound of the 16v going hard.

Pretty sure i've got a 16v WUR in the back of the garage somewhere....whiteshark wrote:Massive spec, original top end 16v, Leather interior in black, electric windows bla bla bla.
