For a long time i have always liked the idea of a turbo diesel mk2 . Why you ask ? , Well, why not ... Almost got to the point of doing the conversion to the red shed, but thankfully a buyer turned up just in time.

Whilst searching through the sciroccos for sale on the facebook site, i saw this monza with a twist - A TDI [emoji4]
Ok so here are the current specs that i know of so far
256 brake setup front
Golf mk2 rear discs
1.9 tdi from a 1996 mk3 golf AHU engine code.
Pro sport coilovers
Pirelli P slot alloys
Uniroyal 185/60/14 tyres.
Goes like the clappers.

, Ok so down to the obvious - adding MY touch to it ,
Stage 1 remap ,
Straight through exhaust,
Add boost gauge
Upgrade headlights,
Replaced clutch ,
Replace gear linkage bushes .
Stay tuned for more updates [emoji4]

Paint the radiator cowl and rocker cover and that will tidy it up no end. :-D

I used this paint on my radiator cowl and rocker cover and it's been fine with the heat and oil for over a year, a quick rub down and spray, all done in a day.

You can get jet black which is a glossy black or a satin black.

I do like the idea of a Tdi! We looked at one for my wife's Golf cab, and are still thinking about it for her Type 25. Both our daily drivers are diesels - my little Skoda will average 59mpg on a run!

Glad I found this thread, I picked up this car a couple of months back, interesting history uncovered including the 'leather interior came from a custom spec that was ordered for the Bank of Canada in the Isle of Man". It's certainly the fastest Scirocco I've driven to date.

rip the engine out and go pd130 with a hybrid turbo and custom map.. was always the idea i had planned, but too many toys so this had to go at the time.
