Hi there - A new owner!!

Well hi there - I thought I'd better pop in and say hello seeing as we are now the proud owner of a 1992 GT2 in Royal Blue Metallic. We've been looking for a nice MK2 for my good lady to use as a daily drive and yesterday, after various emails/texts/pictures sent, we went on a 300 mile round trip to pick up this lovely lady. She is in very good condition and mostly standard. The suspension has had a refresh last year and is very good on our bumpy roads. The wheels are 15" steels, and look awesome.
The paint is in extremely good order and the bumpers have been colour coded which looks really nice. The interior is in exceptional condition, with only a few small cracks in the dash. The under bonnet sound deadening has also been replaced. The rear fuel filler issue has been repaired by a specialist rocco repair place. She's on 32/34 twin choke webers. She starts, idles and runs like a dream. The brakes work (if you give them a good stamp lol) and there's no pulling. We are very happy. Yes, there are a few niggles, the driver's door has a slight bulge at the bottom, there is a teeny dent on the front wing, the sunroof liner doesn't go up when the sunroof does, there's a few marks on the sunroof where it's been wound back (hopefully these will mop out), the interior light doesn't come on with the doors, and the handbrake light doesn't work.
Anyhoo - as they say this thread is useless without pics, so here we are with the newest addition to our family, posing alongside her new stablemate - my 1994 Corrado that I've owned now for 14 years and is also mostly standard as well.
Enjoy and thanks for reading
