My GTX has been parked up and festering for four years so I pulled my finger out and did some refurb work on the engine which was starting to knock slightly under load, tidied up some pipework and generally gave it a bit of TLC- apart form the shocking paint which will have to wait.
So booked her in at my regular place and on arrival one of the guys happened to come outside and chat to me about the Rocco being a classic etc etc. I didn't know he was the tester so chatted about the work I had done and the car generally, turns out he's a Dub man
So in it goes and 40 minutes later the guy at the counter comes out and tells me its done , the headlight aim was off (i did replace a headlamp) but the tester adjusted it and £45 quid later I have a fresh MOT no advisories.
Got home and the O/S/R tyre has deflated slightly, looks like I just got away with it as it appears the old valve is faulty, good excuse to put the 15's I've got in the shed on her for Saturday.
So I am going to the National meet but promise I'll park away from the shiny examples so as not to infect them with my paint pox!
