my local factors have got the flexi rubber pipe on the shelf at a quid a metre. i did my scala with 10mm copper pipe from a plumbers merchant. put a slight flare on the end of it with a brake pipe flarer to give the flexi pipe at each end something to grip. or you cold do it in the blue/white plastic stuff as fitted to most modern cars. go to a scrapyard and rob it off a big estate car (gives you plenty of length to play with)

Is your car a Mk1 or Mk2? If Mk 1 a Mk1 Golf one will fit with some bending (just looked a GSF web site, £39) if Mk2 there is a thred on here some where with details on fitting one and price. It is a common problem on Sciroccos.

(Nate, think he's talking about the filler neck)?

oops

gsf, £39 mk1 golf. to fit to a mk2, chop 6" approx off the tank end and it'll go straight on. you will need a different cap though (mk2 astra one does the job nicely!)
