After reading Mark's thread 'where is everyone?' Has this not been mentioned on Bookface? .. I understand the scene is exploding there..

OK a little pricey! But, jeez what a lovely example! I can't believe this has slipped the radar of the UK Mk 1 world..
Maybe I'm out of touch and it has?

Nice clean example, not sure why there is glue along the door seal, I'm sure mine where never glued on?

2 fog lights on the rear, get rid of 1 of those...

Steady on Mark. (About detail) no wonder there is tumble weeds blowing around at the moment! No doubt Edmund will be around later decreeing a missing M6 nut somewhere? 70 K though - wow !

I did say nice example and it looks very tidy it's just £12,000 is a lot of money and if I could afford to spend that kind of money I would want the car to be spot on. :ok:

That mk1 is on eBay, and not far off the price that I know two fairly similar mk1s have sold for recently. It's about the money that exceptional mk1s will get at the moment.

Facebook was more amused by this Mk2 carb Scala... I know which of the two I'd spend £12k on. http://m.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C878508

Get rid of both - and use your Jedi powers to convince the MOT tester that fog lights aren't required. Works for me.
