No power, what so ever. Help ASAP!

Hi guys!
Long story short:
My rocco (1.8 JH) stood for couple of months (winter) and the battery died. Got new a one, installed it and nothing....no power to anything, no light, switch or whatsoever is working...Checked the cables from battery to the starter and power goes in to the starter but is not going forward.
Best part is that everything was fine before :D
I wouldn't be in that kind a rush but tomorrow I need to take the rocco to the heart surgery :D Finally the engine swap will begin...if I get it to the workshop.
Any hints, tips what to do?

Don't touch your starter. If you have no power to anything then it's much more likely to be a power distribution of ground issue.
Check your ground cable from the battery for any loose connection/ corrosion. and the main battery feed. Ideally you'll have a multimeter to check for powers and grounds.

Check there is power in the battery, get a multi meter and check as just because it's new does not mean it works.

Multimeter I used to check the new battery and ground. Both seems fine.

Check fuses would be next on my list, clean up main connections and when putting new battery on, + then - is the correct order for fitting and - then + for removal.
It must be something simple for it to just happen?
Bad connection in the loom somewhere which drained the old battery??
Electrics are not my strongest subject.

So according to Google, I have a starter which directs power to fusebox through itself and that's causing the problem.
I would only need to do a 10km trip anyway so I will tow it and thats that. And then out goes the old lump :D

The voltage issue took 10min to solve. One wire had gone missing :D Apparently the power to the fusebox did not come through the starter but straight from the battery and it had gone missing while swapping batteries and doing some tinkering.
Anyway now the fun begins - rocco goes turbo!
Thanks ya'll :)
