Slow windows

I’m pretty sure that both windows are slow due to lack of use over the years, especially the passenger window. There are moments on the travel that they speed up but then slow down again.
Before I go doing anything drastic, is there something I can do to perhaps improve the way they travel?
Thanks

take door card off, remove mechanism, strip it down, clean with petrol / white spirit. clean out cables and sprey with silicone spray, regrease mechanism and refit. this made a MASSIVE difference to mine. you must be fairly confident though as they are a little fiddly. all my grease had gone hard and slowed it down. Also check your rubber guides are in good nick. Some silicone spray in these can help a bit too.

Thanks, some good advice there, I thought it might be a case of strip down. The cards are easy from what I remember. What is the fiddly part, the removal of the mechanism? I have all the tools and product to do the job, I should have a go on Sunday.

its taking the winder mechanism apart which is fiddly. it all pings apart as its held under tension and you will need to get it back together again. Only one way to do it so you should be fine.

No, that is the easy part. It is getting the cable guide ends back in their slots that is the fiddly part!
