Scala 20v Ant's old car.

Ok , so only a few things to start, managed to get these bbs alloys at a good price. so off with the steelies and a new set of shoes

then, figured as i physically cant stand shopping trolley dents, the side strips just had to go back on.

forgot to mention does this car had a LSD fitted? Kinda wondering whether to put one in mine before its too late. Will spin in the wet but what's it like in the dry ?

No it doesn't have lsd, few people have recommended it though so if you can afford it might ne worth while. Will spin in the dry but when ur used to it I found it fine, even in wet if you know the limits.

Think I will kill the gearbox then have it rebuilt & fit diff

lsd would make the handling and performance alot better. along the lines of - because of the power now , having lsd will/should give you more confidence when cornering at speed. saying that though, good tyres and decent suspension is also another factor of feeling confident with a harder driving style. put it another way,
if you wanted to take this car round a track and "go for gold" lsd would definately be needed.

hi keiran, sorry about the lack of contact.... work work work, get home and basically sleep. ( groundhog day )
the scala has come along way since i took over ownership, front engine mount fitted ( major difference ) weitec coilovers and obviously the alloys in the photo. the wheels now have all round michelin pilot sport 3, a good choice of tyre with this power in a car that weighs less than a ton. ( still prefer my uniroyal rain expert 3's though ). get in contact buddy. i now have this week off ( 9th - 15th )

New turbo boost gauge turned up as the other one was tooo bright at night
