Fuel pipe - tank to pump

Hi all,
If it's not one thing then it's another!
Got the filler to tank pipe sorted (thanks for the help)
Now the pipe from tank to pump is causing this problem :-
Not a lot of distance between the two - so the new pipe (quite thick walled) is kinking to make the necessary angle of probably 90 degrees.
As always any help gratefully received.
Cheers
Andrew

Probably easier to extend the rubber hose sections to where the bends are to make life easier.
Especially at the front of the car where the pipe passes through the floor

I'd try emailing Classic VW in the link above or find "Mark Classic vw Carter" on Facebook and ask when he expects stock back in.
Failing that, they're still readily available in the US, genuine and copies

Big thanks - mark 1 gls and mr.brown
I didn't remove the tank/pump but I guess your replies confirmed my suspicion that it wasn't just a normal length of pipe which bent normally!
I'll chase up one of the suppliers mentioned and then wait for the next Hiccup!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
