Hi allIf anyone from the East Midlands area wants to meet up to convoy across to the National in Telford I'm happy to arrange this again.
Last year we met at Starbucks on the Little Eaton roundabout in Derby at 8:00am and I propose to do the same again. Post code for there is DE21 5DA and it opens at 8:00am so chance for a quick toilet visit or coffee to go before we set off at 8:10 latest.
Plan is to meet up with the North West convoy at Gailey, which is just west of Stafford on A449, at 9:00am as they come of the M6 from 'up Norf'. This will then get us to Telford services for around 9:30am where a very high number of Scirocco's will converge for the convoy to RAF Cosford about just after 10:00 ish.
We'll be leaving Derby via A38 south and then onto A5 through Cannock to Gailey crossing over M6 junction 12 so you're more than welcome to meet along the way. We won't have time to stop though so just join us when/where it is age to do so.
If you've never been in large single make convoy, it's well worth the effort, particularly when we're all on the M54 heading to Cosford!
