not an everyday job but for all the engine builders out there i used these guys the other day and their service was impeccable!
not only that i ordered 3 oclock monday and was at my door 10 oclock the next morning.
they can make the core plugs out of the usual steel but can also make them in stainless and brass meaning no rotting out.

Good to know. Couldn't see and 36.6mm on there, did you get yours made up?

Top end rebuild for me next month but seriously considering doing the lot. Where did you get a piston ring set from?

i was working on a non vw engine but i would give them a call and they should be able to get/make up what ever you need
