Hi,

What do you guys use on your bumpers to make them all shiny? I use the back to black by turtle wax on my bumpers and trim, the trim comes up great, however the bumpers hardly looks touched.

Cheers

I've not noticed a big difference between the various products. I often buy Autoglym stuff as Halford frequently does 3 for 2 offers, and I like their polish.

I've used many of these products over the years and most of them wash of at the slightest bit of rain but after going to the nationals last year and taking to people some one recommended this Autoglym so I tried it and I'm really impressed, my bumpers on the Mk1 are 37 years old and they are faded, the autoglym does a fab job at getting them nice a black and it sticks to the bumper very well and lasts a few washes/ rain showers. You also don't need to use a large amount and it's a gel so no water down liquid like in many other products out there so a bottle lasts a long time.
Cloth the put it on, leave it to dry for a short time and other cloth to buff it up.
I've tried various brands from back to black to Meguiars and the Autoglym stuff is the best so far.

Other places sell it as well so shop around.

autoglym here too. if they struggle to get them to turn dark black, then wash them with something brutal first like fairy liquid to get rid of any grease. i bought this the other day to bump up my stock and it really is a bargain!! £45 for everything as appose to £10 for each bottle. The drying and polishing cloths are really good too.

Smooth peanut butters meant to work well. I use autoglym though and it seems ok, I've heard good things about wurth bumper dye which returns ya bumpers back to original colour, gonna give it a try myself next month.
