splutting and cutting out

hey up peeps
right i have a 87 gt 1.6 carb on a weber i bought a newer weber to replace my weber i change it and it was overfueling all the time think the float is stuck anywhere i put my old one back on, which was running like a dream anywhere (i know why did i change it ) and now its running like a bag of poo, runs ok for a day or two then starts to splutter then cuts out,checked fuel tank no rust filler neck new fuel going to carb fillter full (new) fuel pump only 6 months old new prieburg one it was ok before i took off,swapped, then put back on this is my daily drive and i need it off on holiday tomorrow to torquey until monday but have tuesday to sort it PLEASE HELP

fuel pipe and return on wrong way? does it tickover and rev ok when staitonary?

yeah runs ok had the pipes off but put back the way there come off?

Is the carb to manifold gaskett ok Lee ?

yes mark i put a new one on about 2 weeks ago mate its doing my head in now just checked the inline filter and theres only a little fuel in it could it be a blockage in the fuel pipe tanks ok or the fuel sender?

Check the pick up pipe on the sender unit mate, make sure the filter isnt obstructed.
