Has anyone replaced the studs that hold the anti role bar clamp?
One of mine snapped when removing the clamp
Sort of lucky it's not snapped flush
Any ideas and info on what the stud is made from and how it's attached would be appreciated
Cheers jack

Hah, I know the feeling well. I've just ordered all new wishbones and bushes - what's the betting that I'll break something now!

You can sometimes stop things shearing off by cleaning the thread with a wire brush, spray on some plusgas penetration fluid (WD40 is rubbish) then loosen the nut a little then do it back up, loosen it a little more and tighten it back up loosen it a bit more then tighten it back up and so on... this stops the dirt and rust locking into the nut causing it to seize to the bolt. It sometimes work or if the bolt/stud is to far gone it will shear off what ever you do.

I have also found that if you drop the rear axle off. Do not wreck the pivot bolt washers especially the cupped one cos they are obsolete and it took 7 weeks for heritage to get some to me. So if the bush isn't buggered leave it alone.
