Hi i am fitting a new set off Coil over the kit come with TOP MOUNTS FRONT AND REAR MOUNTS,the rear mount goes under the car on the coil over,the bit i am confuse with is, do i add the bearing ring back ?, or do i just put back plate and nut too the car with out the bearing ring,
i cant seem to fine the answer,

What coilovers are you fitting? Someone else on here probably has the same ones and knows exactly how they fit.

This is from the manual that came with mine. I would imagine most should be similar if not the same.

nice Ben for taking the time bro for posting it up,yep i thought the rubber should go there,how was your font set up,as i was going to use my old SPRING TOP CAPS as it seem to fit the car better,how did you set yours up Ben,i am just doing my font brake upgrade,just waiting for calipers too come back form refurbish,should been here today,done all the back ones know and new brake lines in,after Christmas i be working on putting a new engine in her,and a lick off paint ;-)

Mine didn't come with any top mounts, I got cheap ones at the time and am just needing to replace them now after 3 years, quite a lot of miles and a few track days.
Have got decent ones this time, hopefully they will last a bit longer.

thanks for that Ben,iv got new top mounts with mine just seem like the shock are push the rubber and metal plate up on the top mounts,im going to put my old top caps on top of the coil overs,see how it look then,just fished upgrading me new font brakes know,look good just need to bleed brakes,i no they come off a Vauxhall Astra mk3 know,nice upgrade,after refurbish and new disc and bits come in about £250, ;-),anyway off to have a dobe know ;-) so have a great weekend bro ;-) i post some pic of me upgrade tomorrow :pilot:
