hi i called up vw heritage and told them i wanted a clutch cable for a 1980 mk1 Scirrocco Storm with a injection engine and provided me with the below item. after being in the garage for quote some time this cable is to short!!
any ideas which cable i need? vw heritage state 1 carburetor cable which is longer but i dont now if that one would fit?? Please help :/ is it to do with it being a 53B or what ever the other code is?
if some one can link me to a cable that would fit id be very grateful!
thanks never new such hassle over a cable!! on the v heritage site it lists the 532 721 335 J as a 1216mm cable which is 200mm to short!! not buying from them again

The short cable is for a 1.5 or 1.6 engine and indeed to short for the 1.8 engines.
