Had an absolutely fantastic day at the National meet, brilliant to catch up with everyone and to see so many fantastic cars.
Total shock to get the best mk2 trophy, definitely wasn't expecting that, thanks to everyone who voted for my GL
And very proud to win the Ian Croucher Award, (but wish there wasn't one) still miss him, the meets and get-togethers definitely aren't the same without him
Also a big thankyou to all those who put the effort in to organise the meet, VERY WELL DONE
Thanks again
Tony

Re: NATIONAL MEET 2015
Just a BIG 'thank you' to all concerned, really.
I echo Tony's sentiments, an ab fab day , all round! My first National Day, having after 32 years of various Scirocco ownerships, only finally joining the Register in June. I made the event a red letter day in my diary.
The generosity of spirit I found, is as phenomenal as is the combined knowledge base. From the intricacies of side light circuitry, to the complexities of spark plug technology, the day expanded my Type 53 understanding, immeasurably. Thanks in particular to Eric, Sean, Matt & Tim, :o)
As for the evening's social, enjoyable is probably not doing it justice. As in the instance of 'Woodstock', if you can remember it, you weren't there! Having kipped in the car for safety's sake, in the Ramada car park, until 03:00h the next a.m., I made it safely back to my B&B...
A leasurely drive down the A5 back to the Smoke, with a Sunday Lunch en route, topped off a cracking weekend.
Ace! Thanks again.

Re: NATIONAL MEET 2015
A big thanks to the guys that organised the national from me too. This was the first time that I joined the convoy from Telford services into Cosford. Quite an experience seeing all those Roccos in my mirrors. Had a great run down from Derby with the East Midlands lads too.
I had to leave at 2pm for family reasons, but I still had a great day out. And where has that white Kamei Rocco been hiding? That was great to see.

peaking of Rocco's in mirrors!
Can't see you, but I bet you're grinning! We were on the A38 at the time.

Re: NATIONAL MEET 2015
Big thanks from me, Rachel and Pickle. We all had a fantastic time as we always do. Having organised a few in years past, I know how much work goes into making preparations to make the day memorable. Thanks chaps.
Also a big thanks to all who made the trip and showed their Roccos for us all to enjoy. It really is great to see numbers not only staying similar, but improving as the years go on.
