A lovely example of a Scala in original condition. Its a 1989 injection model finished in Alpineweiss with white snowflake alloys and a white interior. It has good history with the service book stamped up to 131,000, It has been recommissioned from long term storage since 2009. It is in the same spec as it left the factory and has many nice features like; a working non leaking sunroof, virtually crack free dash, 3 point rear seat belts, leather steering wheel, original blaupunkt radio, MFA and it even has the original number plates with interesting VW letters (F970 RVW). Recently it has had a timing belt, oil change, cam cover gasket, discs and pads, rear shoes and cylinders, front shock inserts and top mounts, rear shocks and a new back box. The engine runs really smoothly and pulls well, and the ride is good. The bodywork is very solid and rust free, and paint has a nice shine, however there are the odd blemishes and dents as expected with a 26 year old car. Overall the car is an 80's classic in fine condition and would fit in perfectly at a classic car show.
