Depends very much on condition. One photo does not say much :)
I would say, with full MOT and a good history £850 - £1900 It would have to be exceptional to go over £2K

Age makes little difference as the engines/trim etc were pretty much the same throughout (differences in colour and style of fabric being the main notable changes). Condition and history are what determine the value of a mk2 Scirocco.

is it just me or does the windscreen appear to be tinted green but not the side glass?
or is that a trick of the light?

Probably just the lighting. All GT2s should have tinted glass.

Yes, but on a J-plate with a carb it's going to be a GTII. It's unlikely (though possible) that the glass has been changed. It's just to do with the direction of the lighting.

Roccos are worth only what someone is willing to pay at the time and there isn't much consistency. In my opinion the very early mk2 and GTX are the ones that hold decent money £1500+ and the rest are very much condition based. Modified may lose you money too. Late mk2s can be picked up for £800 or more if in very good condition. This is wrong as I think they are much better than the golf and rarer too which should make them 2k+ cars.
