I need to buy new coolant it is meant to be blue.As it now seems to be red if you buy from here ===

The red stuff is meant to last longer before changes but I would still use the blue stuff as that's what's in there.
5l ready mixed is plenty. Don't forget to pull out the thermostat to drain the engine block and you will need a new O-ring.

Nothing wrong with the stuff I posted the link to it's got the same chemical as the G11. I've been using it for a few years now with no problems and as long as you do drain and change the coolant last least every 3 years you will be fine.
G11 is the stuff that VW used to sell but have stopped and replaced it with G12 which does not mix well with older coolant so you need to drain and flush the entire system very well or it will go brown and sludgy so I would avoid using G12.

OK coolio mark1gls I have never used this red coolant on her.And I put a new coolant bottle on her last year and flushed the coolant flow section with engine flush.So I would not think I would need to do this at this point in time.
